Universal Information Services, a complete media monitoring service, is proud to announce our Annual Courtesy Account competition for local not-for-profit organizations in Alaska, Nebraska, or Wisconsin. Universal will award one news monitoring grant to a not-for-profit organization for the 2011/2012 period. The award consists of one full year of free web and broadcast news monitoring, SmartView portal, and the opportunity to include our social media monitoring service. This grant will be awarded to the non-profit who submits the most compelling application of News Monitoring in their Public Relations strategy.
Submissions must be posted through Universal Information Services’ Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/UniversalInformationServices) by May 31, 2011. To enter through our facebook page please do the following:
1. LIKE our Page
2. Post a brief note on our Wall indicating your entry
3. Message your submission to Universal through Facebook.
The winner will be announced the week of June 6, 2011.
Submissions should briefly include:
1. What their organization is doing to raise awareness of their services
2. How monitoring the news will help them track the effectiveness of their efforts
3. Why monitoring their media exposure is important to their mission
Candidates will be evaluated on what they are currently doing and how monitoring their results could increase their effectiveness in furthering their mission. Once the winner is announced, Universal Information Services will make contact to set up keyword searches and provide training on the Portal and reports. The free year of Television and Web monitoring will begin immediately after training. This bundle includes daily monitoring reports sent via e-mail and to a SmartView Portal for permanent searching, reporting, and analysis. A Public Newsroom will be created to help share news results with their audience.

Web/Social Media Tracking: A comprehensive search of online and social media content. Includes Print, Broadcast, and Web-only sources.
We send out morning tracking reports directly to any or all of your desired recipients.
Results are permanently saved to your SmartView portal.
