News Tracking and Analysis Team Grows

Universal Information Services is excited to announce the expansion of our client services department. With the addition of Tim Kaldahl and Jocelyn Limbach, Universal expands the focus on managed services for assisting public relations and marketing clients. Creating and supporting the correct value added news monitoring and media analysis services are critical for the type of clients Universal serves.

Tim Kaldahl has joined Universal Information Services as a news analysis solutions manager. He will be working with a wide range of clients to create customized media tracking and analysis solutions. Prior to Universal, Kaldahl had worked for 20 years in healthcare and higher education public relations.

“Communication professionals are busy people who need to be able to pull accurate, helpful information quickly. Universal completely understands that,” Kaldahl said. “The company’s commitment is to provide absolutely the best news monitoring, research and media analysis. I’m excited to join the team and I look forward to being a go-to resource for clients.”

Todd Murphy, Universal Information Service’s vice president, said Kaldahl’s skill set will be particularly valuable for PR professionals who work in public relations departments and at public relations/marketing agencies. Kaldahl’s experience with healthcare and education PR is a key addition to Universal.

“Tim knows the client perspective because he’s been a client,” he said. “He isn’t guessing about what demands are placed on front-line PR practitioners, and he knows how helpful accurate and timely media analysis information can be.”

Kaldahl started his career as a newspaper reporter. He has a bachelor’s degree in communications and a master’s degree in English. Tim will be embedded with Universal’s client relations and sales team.

Jocelyn Limbach recently joined the Universal Information Services team as the company’s client relations manager. Having received her journalism degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, she entered the workforce as the director of marketing at a Nebraska-based printing company. As director of marketing, Jocelyn gained a valuable understanding of what clients can face on a day-to-day basis and also knows how a service partner like Universal can lighten that load.

A current events enthusiast and self-proclaimed problem solver, the duties of client relations is a perfect combination for Jocelyn’s love for client services and the news. She considers herself a “marketing junkie” and is constantly expanding her knowledge through involvement with her local AMA chapter and other professional organizations.

“The addition of Jocelyn to the Universal team means Universal can continue to grow the number of clients served, while continually improving the experience each client receives”, Murphy said.
