How will diversity impact Sunday’s Oscars?

In our capacity at a news monitoring and PR measurement service, we have tracked and evaluated many stories that involved race and diversity this past year. Recounting the conflict in Ferguson, New York City, and several points in between reveals there is no lack for the need to figure out why the image of our nation suffers from such a diversity and tolerance problem.
A completely white slate of Oscar nominees for acting categories has only happened once before in the past 20 years.
