Each year PRSA chapters around the United States hold professional development conferences to help local PR professionals learn changing and new practices from experts in their respective fields all while networking to stay connected to the community.

This year’s PDC in Nebraska focused on the Four Pillars of Public Relations: Research, Planning, Execution and Evaluation. The day was filled with knowledgeable speakers from local and national organizations. Organizations included: Dave Arch and Associates, Albers Communications Group, Omaha Public Power District, a session on Accreditation in Public Relations (APR), OBI Creative, Weber Shandwick, AGPR, Greater Omaha Chamber and the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s (UNO) Research Lab.
