Universal Information Services is proud to announce that Jean Saucier has joined our media monitoring and measurement team. Jean brings two decades of experience to the new Business Development initiative at Universal.
With her, Jean brings more than 20 years of public relations experience. She has a varied background in sales, client services, publicity measurement, data analysis, media relations, account management and business development.
For the past 11 years, Jean has worked primarily as Sales and Product Manager for PRtrak, an online publicity measurement database for PR executives. She has spent much of her career educating clients about the importance of understanding and using metrics like media value, publicity value, publicity multipliers and audience impressions in order to gain a better understanding of their public relations ROI. In addition to PRtrak, Jean has sold other proprietary media contact and tracking databases, such as PR Newswire’s OnlineMEDIAtlas and VMS’ Insight platform. Most recently Jean was on the client relations and retention support team at Burrelle’s/Luce, a leading news monitoring firm in North America.
Early on in her career, Jean secured national and trade media placements for her clients. She educated and supervised account teams in client management, media relations and research. She also trained public relations professionals in the use of proprietary media relations databases and tools.
Jean has a Bachelor of Science in Media Studies from the University of Illinois, Urbana – Champaign and lives in the Chicago area.
