Truescope Adds Rick Lombardo to Lead Sales in North America

After nearly 25 years, Rick Lombardo and Todd Murphy are back together to drive growth and expansion for Truescope in North America. Truescope, co-founded by Media Monitors/Isentia veterans John Croll and Michael Bade, has developed the most advanced communications technology platform to help professional communicators utilize their media exposure more easily and with greater insight.

It’s not often one gets to work with the best in the industry. It is unheard of to get that chance twice. Lombardo and Murphy first collaborated when the Chicago public relations industry asked them to deliver a better news monitoring option. That collaboration grew rapidly and was sold four years later when a foreign media monitoring company hoped to enter the U.S. market and needed to build on the success of the broadcast monitoring business the two collaborators had built so quickly.

Murphy, former CEO and owner of Universal Information Services, a company acquired by Truescope in January of 2023, leads Truescope’s team in North America as President. Lombardo joins Truescope in North America as Senior Vice President of Media Intelligence and will manage their growing sales team and client growth strategy. Additionally, Jean Saucier will assume the role of Senior Vice President of Client Success. Saucier has worked with Murphy at Universal as the company’s Senior Vice President.

The Truescope team is now delivering the most comprehensive results from all media, with greater  tools and client support, resulting in a client experience unavailable elsewhere.
