    Todd has developed the broadcast monitoring, web/social media monitoring, and media measurement services for Universal. Heavily involved with the news monitoring industry associations, Todd has served as president and on the committees of several international media monitoring organizations. Specializing in corporate organization, copyright law, and US legislation affecting the use of media, Todd Murphy is positioned to continue the innovation Universal has enjoyed over the last 100 years. Todd acquired the company in 2016 and sold Universal to Truescope, Inc. in January of 2023. Todd is now President of Truescope, Inc.

    In addition to operating Universal since 1959, Jim has over 40 years experience with the Army National Guard. Retiring as a Brigadier General, his expertise in team management translates well to the private sector workforce. Jim is now "mostly" retired.
